Thanks to all for posting all the Live Aid set of the Cars. I can only remember the uk’s bbc showing 2 songs of the set. Showed more coverage in the uk of the usa live aid with a man on stage throwing a freisbee into the crowd. thanks again

Awesome video. I had the pleasure of spending a day with the band in Houston in 1978. Around the hotel pool I watched Ric, sitting in his lawn chair, writing song after song like he was writing letters home. Amazing. Enjoyed everyone of the guys and crew. They invited me to ride with them to the show the next night and then sit with the mixing board during the show. I knew the song lineup and enjoyed just spending the time with them all. God bless Ben. He is missed very very much.

But it really annoys me that the camera (especialy during the 80s) just ignored bassists even if they are as tallented as Benjamin =(

Hey man, we ARE getting old. I know all the hype about a possible reunion and the video clip on their Facebook page. And of coure all of us Cars fans are extatic. But this performance is the summit, the pinnacle. I would love to see a reunion, but I don’t think they’ll ever do better than this song in this place.
